User Persona: Cyber Broker

A cyber broker matches businesses with cyber insurance policies. They assess a business's specific cybersecurity needs and then shop around among different insurance providers to find the best coverage at the best price.

Common Goals

There are many types of brokers with different levels of experiences quoting cyber. However, they all 1. very busy working with multiple lines of insurance and many clients at a time 2. want to be the hero/ champion for their clients.

Problem Statements

1. Brokers do not have an easy way to problem shoot and resolve issues on their own. When they encounter technical difficulties using the platform or have questions about our product offerings they mostly only rely on our CS agents.

2. Brokers do not have quick access to documents and tools that supports their workflow. The essential documents and tools that they frequently use are buried and hard to find.

3. Brokers cannot access industry-leading educational content through Coalition.

The User Stats

"At least 1500 users visit resources per month. About 50% of visitors click away without doing anything on the page."

"About 20% of users look for coverage comparison tool on the page. Only half of them are able to download comparison doc successfully."

"PDF application, coverage overview and policyholder benefits are some of the most requested documents. It's reported in 7/20 user interviews that brokers have problem finding them."
